| Resumo: | Jerónimo and Malinche in their function as translators use the word to dominate. Logomythic theory, by Lluís Duch, is applied in its integrating character of myth and word. The methodology consists in analyzing the struggle for the control of the language as an instrument of power, in a process of historical reality to fiction through the mythical sense. The fight between the characters in the structure of the story will be studied, in the dynamics that are followed to develop the meaning in the story. It is concluded that word and myth imply each other, the word has by nature an explanatory function of myths, but always enriches the value and meaning of words. |
