Descripción
Sumario:Archival training in Colombia is analyzed on the basis of an evolutionary and current perspective, comparing disciplinary and algorithmic contents of the curriculum of academic programs that train professionals in this field of knowledge. The qualitative approach, a documentary method, and a type of comparative research were the central elements of the methodology, using the Document Management and Archives Administration Model as a reference for comparison, which constitutes one of the national public policies that guide the implementation of the archival function in this country. The main results show different degrees of articulation of the programs, reaching the conclusion that it is necessary to move towards processes of curricular harmonization for the training of archivists in Colombia.
