| Sumario: | This article describes how the University of Guadalajara, through the Virtual University System, has managed to consolidate an educational model whose main objective has been to professionalize and train journalists and communicators in a context of technological change. The first part talks about the Internet as a communication platform and its influence on the transformation of journalism and the professional profile of the communicator. After that, it is described the educational model that has been implemented at the Center for Digital Journalism Training (cfpd). At the end of the document it is presented a report on the main results of the center in training journalists on issues related to the use and implementation of applications and technologies for digital journalism. |
