These species are completely redescribed and their diagnostic characters are illustrated in corresponding plates. Alloxysta islandica Hellén, 1931 is here synonymized with Phaenoglyphis villosa (Hartig, 1841). The synonymy of Alloxysta ruthei Hellén, 1931 with Alloxysta fuscipes (Thomson, 1862) is confirmed.
