Descripción
Sumario:The interest of the United Nations Organization in contributing to a more balanced development of the country, as well as the human rights situation in Colombia has been motivated by the reality of an armed conflict that has been active for decades and that has conditioned largely the history of the country. Relations between the two actors have remained constant, as well as the Organization’s concern for systematic violations of human rights, both in the context of the conflict and during the three years that have elapsed after the signing of the Peace Agreement with the FARC-EP. Despite the advances in the recognition of the rights of victims, the road that remains to be done is long and directly threatens the implementation of said Agreement.
