Descripción
Sumario:The research project UPNT (UCAM, Research Support Plan, 2019-2022) analyzes the problematic use of the internet from a social and cultural perspective. Results from the survey research: 1) Young people do not behave as a homogeneous group in relation to the problematic Internet use, younger people and students are identified as the most vulnerable groups. 2) Although some of the clusters identified by their Internet use have a higher incidence of problematic use, this behavior can be considered a cross-cutting reality from one profile to another. With this starting point, this work differentiates the specific case of students. Firstly, a statistical analysis addresses the problematic use of the Internet among the students group. Secondly, the observed behaviors are interpreted from the students' narratives about their daily relationship with ICT and their perceptions.
