Separation Timescales of Vertically Migrating Zooplankton and Other (a)Biotic Materials in the Benguela System

Data Availability Statement The GLOB16 data used in this study are distributed through the CMCC data delivery system (Iovino et al., 2022). Due to the size of this ocean configuration, the full GLOB16 model output is available upon request. The Lagrangian framework software, Parcels v3.0 used for pa...

Sumario:Data Availability Statement The GLOB16 data used in this study are distributed through the CMCC data delivery system (Iovino et al., 2022). Due to the size of this ocean configuration, the full GLOB16 model output is available upon request. The Lagrangian framework software, Parcels v3.0 used for particle tracking is licensed under the MIT License and published on GitHub https://github.com/OceanParcels/parcels (van Sebille & the Parcels Github community, 2024). The code used for the simulations and analysis of this study is licensed under the MIT License and available at the Github repository- https://github.com/OceanParcels/atlanteco_plankton_plastic_nutrients_dispersion (Manral, 2025a). The generated data in this study is openly accessible at https://doi.org/10.24416/UU01-P8FDGP (Manral, 2025b).
