| Sumario: | The religious freedom includes the right of churches and religious communities to establish places of worship. This collective dimension is analyzed in this article. Specifically, we focus on the places of worship of those religious denominations that signed agreements with the Spanish State in 1992. From this perspective, we refer not only to their legal status in Spain but also to the most contentious issues affecting them. Therefore, the problems related to urban growth and urban development are analyzed. Finally, we propose several measures to improve the legislation under consideration. |
