Resumo:This study raises one of the current problems of growing companies, which is the management of i ts workforce . Due to that fact, talent management has become a crucial topic not only for practition ers but also for researchers. Indeed it allows companies to detect, to develop and to keep the strategic advantage that can come from its workforce. In a nutsh ell , talent is lying among the workforce and should be managed in a proper way to create significant value. Talent here can be understood either as a characteristic or as people . T he first step in Talent Management is the identification of Talent. In this study aims to compile the existing wor ks on the Talent Identification. First we give the background of Talent Identification. Then we explain what Talent Identification is and focus on its last three steps: identifying the actors and factors, explaining t he method to do it and finally the communication of its results. The result of the study are responding to two crucial needs . The first one is the establishment of a clear structure to identify the Talen ts within a company. The second is the need of compil e the scholar ly literature .
