| Sumario: | ABSTRACT The purpose of this academic work is the implementation and developement of an analytical tool for prioritizing decontamination areas, in order to use it in urban design. The rising concern about reducing the atmospheric pollution of urban environment caused by vehicular traffic expects to be solved by nature-based solutions for cities. Through a study of sustainability indexes a tool that allows to define the optimal place for a natural filter to be installed is proposed. The city of Vitoria-Gasteiz is chosen due to its large Green infrastructure investment and the European Green Capital Award it received. |
