Descripción
Sumario:This research focuses on determining how, at present, the European Public Radio Televisions of Spain, France and Portugal use the model of performance indicators, with special emphasis on the Society category and within it, specifically on social actions. The methodology used is based on the content analysis of reports and balances on Corporate Social Responsibility of the three European public corporations. The results show, on the one hand, the manifest concern of the corporations in the creation and execution of social actions related to aspects such as solidarity, equality, gender rights, disability, or the environment, aimed at the population by virtue of their public service function; and, on the other hand, the scope and uneven effectiveness of the programs and practices to evaluate and manage the impacts of the operations in the related communities
