Descrição
Resumo:In this TFM (master) we will focus on the study of the importance of sound in the current postdramatic theatre from a historical perspective. More specifically, we will analyse productions that link their dramaturgy to sound and electronic music as an object and a source of dramatic creation. The definition of postdramatic theatre suggested by Lehmann (2013) will be our base for characterizing these scenic practices, but in order to describe the type of productions that are our focus, we will have to resort to other authors and artistic fields (sound art, electronic music and sound installation). So, we will define a theoretical frame to which subscribe these new frontier theatrical practices, and that, in our point of view, can be enriched if we link it to other disciplines. Our study aims to lay the theoretical base for future performative research that reveals a creative process of these characteristics.
