Sumario:The Catalan Proverbis de Salomó is a collection of roughly one hundred admonitions and wisdom sentences preserved in three didactic-moral miscellanies copied between the last quarter of the 14th and the first third of the 15th century. Although all three witnesses have been described and edited, the collection had not received the critical attention it deserved, particularly considering its prominent role in the transmission of medieval Catalan wisdom and proverbial literature. Because of this, this work focuses mainly on the analysis of the manuscript contexts in which the text appears and the overall configuration of the miscellanies it participates in. Furthermore, a study of the textual relationships among the three witnesses and a brief exploration of the thematic structure of the collection is included. Finally, a synoptic edition of the text from the three witnesses is offered
