It was to be located at the north end of a plot where there were other sport facilities, with which it had to be connected. Taking into account this preliminary approach, the fi rst decision was to separate the project into two clearly defi ned levels: a dense concrete plinth and a light wooden canopy fl oating above it. This dichotomy between two materials and their structural typologies has made it possible to distribute circulations and the layout, as well as to establish marked relationships between the interior and exterior. The concrete fulfi lls its characteristic function as a base, paradoxically incorporating the typical feature of digital screens.[ES] En la localidad de Los Corrales de Buelna, se recibió el encargo de proyectar un recinto para albergar una pista de bolos tradicionales cántabros, con las correspondientes gradas y servicios. Se debía disponer en el fondo norte de una parcela donde estaban otros equipamientos deportivos, con los que era necesario relacionarse. Con este planteamiento previo, se optó por separar el programa en dos niveles claramente diferenciados: un zócalo denso de hormigón y un dosel ligero de madera que flotase sobre él. La dicotomía entre dos materiales, con sus correspondientes tipologías estructurales ha permitido distribuir las circulaciones y el programa, así como establecer relaciones diferenciadas entre interior y exterior.
