First record of gynandromorphy in the genus Rhipidia (Diptera: Limoniidae)

We record the first observation of gynandromorphy in the genus Rhipidia (Diptera: Limoniidae), in the species R. (R.) willistoniana (Alexander, 1929), from the island of Martinique in the West Indies. The adult crane fly shows polar gynandromorphy of the antenna and genitalia.
