To improve preparedness for future pandemics, we have initiated a network of nine European-funded Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) Actions that can help facilitate inter-, multi-, and trans-disciplinary communication and collaboration.M.H.V. has grants from FEDER (Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional) through COMPETE 2020 and from FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology; POCI-01-0145-FEDER-030457 ; POCI-01-0145-FEDER-016390 : CANCEL STEM).
