| Resumo: | [EN] New documents belonging to the personal archive of the Spanish art collector Sebastián de Soto Cortés (1833-1915) have allowed the establishment of a link between findings form the area of Villamayor-Moñes (Piloña) that took place during the mid and end of the xix century to some objects now deposited at the Museo Arqueológico Nacional and the Instituto Valencia de Don Juan, as well as describing others that have now a day disappeared. This study proves the potential of combining documental research with technotypological information of objects to assess the context and origin of old findings, information that is fundamental for their interpretation |
