Study of the process of phagocytosis of corpora amylacea from the cerebrospinal fluid by human macrophages

Corpora Amylacea (CA) are granular bodies that accumulate in the human brain during aging and neurodegenerative conditions. These structures act as containers that amass waste substances from the brain and they are extruded from the central nervous system to the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
