| Sumario: | In the present work, the operation of an activated sludge reactor and the incorporation of different technologies are exposed to improve its operation, monitoring, reduce operating and installation costs, and how can even be useful in the prevention of occupational risks and accidents. Different technologies of communication, measurement, monitoring, control and industrial automation are exposed. Technologies such as Wi-Fi networks, data buses, analog sensors, digital sensors, actuators, LoRa communication, ESP 32 microcontrollers, and a cloud platform called ThingSpeak, which, among other functions, is used to store operating data and view it in real time. After making a review of these technologies, its application in an activated sludge system is deepened and how it can improve the aforementioned aspects. Finally, guidelines are given for other projects related to this one. |
