| Sumario: | [EN] Art of Musical Improvisation in an interdisciplinary approach is reflective writing on research and production within the framework of the doctoral program. Focused on musical improvisation and explores it in audiovisual and contemporary dance composition. It explains the process of artistic production which is inspired by jazz harmony through essences of Celtic, flamenco, and tango folk music, and endows these colors with large-screen background audiovisuals. This production features a live viola performance with a modern dancer who improvises in those moments and creates her choreography. It is an artistic exploration which aims to make moments of improvisation more enriched as an expressive means and reflect them in different modes of the performing arts. It shows that a musician/dancer/artist has the power to creatively express life's journey to show that we all have a story; what matters is how you convert that story into your art. Art has significant potential to make us think, realize and transform ourselves, and even when this becomes a form of improvisation, it is more magical to see that the human being is a world without an end foundation. |
