Descripción
Sumario:In this essay I focus on the historian, antiquary and bibliophile Pere Miquel Carbonell, who provides a good case study for assessing the dissemination of Italian humanism in the Crown of Aragon in the last decades of the fifteenth century and the early years of the following century. Carbonell's manuscript annotations to his copy of Pier Paolo Vergerio's De ingenuis moribus et liberalibus adulescentiae studiis (Naples 1475) are examined here.
