| Sumario: | The present work contributes to the characterization and mapping of sublittoral seabed located in the nearshore of the San Andrés Beach in Malaga. This zone extends between the outer dock of the Malaga harbor and the Guadalhorce river mouth. The study was done using the description of the acoustic reflection patterns obtained with Side Scan Sonar thechniques.
