Descripción
Sumario:[EN] This paper aims to describe the relationship between the Working Memory and Specific Language Impairment, through the review of the research carried out in recent years in this field. For this review, a total of 14 researchs published since 2011 to date have been selected. In these 14 researchs, it has been observed how all of them have found, to a greater or lesser extent, some kind of relationship between WM and SLI. In addition to this, we have observed how in these children the performance in different executive functions is altered, apart from the WM, obtaining the children with SLI scores lower than the children with typical language development. These deficits have been found both in verbal and visual tasks, which makes the researchers prefer more general disorder than just verbal disorder. And finally there seems to be some consensus among these investigations, in which the component of Badley's model of WM that shows the most alterations in children with SLI is the phonological loop, followed by the central executive and finally the visuospatial sketchpad.[ES] En el presente trabajo se pretende describir la relación entre la Memoria de Trabajo y el Trastorno específico del lenguaje, a través de la revisión de las investigaciones realizadas en los últimos años en este campo.
