| Sumario: | Poetry, the four or five-line stanzas occupy a stellar role in flamenco, sharing the limelight with music. In the case of the mining singings, many of these creations come from the trovo or improvised poetry. Indeed, there have been many practitioners or fans of this art that, consciously or not, have contributed to swell the flow of lyrics of this family of singings, that have special roots in the Region of Murcia. In this sense, names like those of José María Marín, Ángel Roca or Basilio Martínez Vera stand out. |
