Sumario:[EN] The following research tries to design the auxiliary supports system most suitable on XVI and XVII century panel painting, titled The Resurrection. For this purpose, we studied wood structure and features, which are responsible of good or bad conservation statement of panel paintings. We also studied the evolution of auxiliary structures in the back of paintings and we focused on flexible auxiliary support systems used recently, and which see wood is a dynamic material, continually shrinking and swelling. At the same time, it is important to study and to understand the Resurrection¿s panel painting structure, technical specifications and pathologies; as well as to assess his exposure environment, in order to design a right auxiliary support System. This research aims to show that conservation of panel painting supports is a carefully calculated process: manual ability is not enough and not all structural treatments could be useful for all panel paintings.
