Sumario:We study cohomological operations within the context of local algebra, first by extending Mehta's operations and then through the Hopf algebra structure on certain Tor modules. Using these results, we give a powerful descent of regularity result for non-noetherian rings. Additionally, we study the ascent and descent of the complete intersection property by introducing three new clases of homomorphisms.
