| Sumario: | [EN] The aim of this article is to contribute with several texts that have not been taken into account and could be sources of Lope’s comedy El Hamete de Toledo, particularly Father Román de la Higuera’s manuscript. Furthermore, the existence of several characters within the comedy is documented, which allows us to assume the veracity of the events that take place in it, as well as the important relationship with one of the characters, which in turn enables us to venture a definite date of composition. |
