Descripción
Sumario:The present work tries to show the activities that have been developing inside the Drawing Department in the Faculty of Fine Art of San Carlos in the Universidad Politecnica of Valencia through the last five years since its creation. The main objective of this project is to select the previously produced and recorded material and merge it on a video that can resume the most important artistic works and expositions developed by The Catedra. This project will show the written and graphic documentation that has been exposed until now, and will also be a visual way to show future works created in The Catedra, including its diffusion in the web. The video, as a resource, is an attractive and interactive way to show the philosophy of an institution, having the power to highlight its abilities and its most important values. The video is the strongest piece of social communication which can merge the spoken word in synchrony with the power that carries the image in movement, not forgetting that the video itself can merge extremely well with photography and a variety of animations resources. The final product of this project has the intention of being part of the exposed work itself, creating a link between the documental and the artistic work of the students itself.
