| Sumario: | This study focuses on the culture and traditions of the Tusan community, the Chinese-Peruvian community, during the Spring Festival. Cultural and religious practices related to the festival are examined, as well as religious beliefs and sacrifices to ancestors. The influence of the Catholic religion on the Tusan community is highlighted, including their preservation of the belief in Guan Gong, the god of war and wealth. Additionally, the customs of feng shui and Lion Dance are explored, along with the importance of language and memes in communication during the festival. The socialization of the Tusan community and the differences in their celebrations compared to those in mainland China are addressed. In conclusion, the preservation of traditions and Tusan identity in the Peruvian context is emphasized. |
