| Sumario: | [EN] The author studies the principal aspects of the synthesis of ammonia in the process Claude, where two towers are used and a pump sends to the second one the gas that has past through both of them without reacting. A series of equations is proposed that solves the problem, and applications of the method are shown in the case of different pressures and rate of flow of the gases. With reference to the condensation of ammonia, the value of 95 per cent has been previously fixed, and the necessary conditions are found to get this aim. The chapter devoted to the study of heat exchangers with applications to the synthesis of ammonia gives a method for the calculation of any sort of heat exchangers. |
