Resumo:The present work studies the introduction in the Canary Islands of the Castilian Council that had been developing during the centuries of the late Middle Ages, analyzing how the conquest of each one of the islands had a decisive influence on its subsequent administra- tive, political, and economic organization. In addition, it analyzes each council office of the councils, with special emphasis on the justice-regiment duality.
