Descripción
Sumario:The development of coherent high density WDM PONs, forecasted as one of the promising technologies to increase the spectral efficiency and reduce the energy consumption, can be obstructedbythe limited tunability, high wavelength drifts and tuning transients of the DFB lasers used in PONs. In this work, a new non-intrusive, colorless and scalable channel allocation procedure is experimentally validated using simple EML lasers as transmitters and local oscillators.
