Through the study of consolidated collaborative strategies used in the city making, has been possible the design of a specific methodology that, composed by ethnography and physical observation, allowed to underscore the site’s identity through the human scale. The project, based on the idea that people are the meaning of the space, presents a rich narrative in which the knowledge collected highlights the broader relationship between industrial heritage, citizens and urban transformations. By studying La Escocesa through a collaborative approach, an authentic understanding of the site and its context can be provided and, although centred on this unique space, the concepts discussed can be relevant also for other realities across Europe. Finally, the knowledge was compiled into a visual booklet, aimed at spreading the findings and reflections to a wider audience, reinforcing the importance of collective engagement in shaping the city.Universitat Politècnica de CatalunyaSeve, Bruno20242024-10-1720252025-02-06master thesishttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_bdccNAhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_be7fb7dd8ff6fe43info:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisapplication/pdfapplication/pdfapplication/pdfapplication/pdfhttps://hdl.handle.net/2117/423584reponame:UPCommons.
