Descripción
Sumario:In this paper the data belonging to several monthly samples, carried out in the lowest parts of the Canarian Pine trunks (Pinus canariensis) in Inagua Forest (Gran Canaria) are shown. Throughout these samples it can be seen that the rise in population of the beetle (Brachyderes rugatus calvus takes palce in September. The Solifugae Eusimonia wunderlichi and the spiders Lathys canariensis, Alopecosa obscura and Xvsticus challengeri are quoted as well for the first time as species found in Gran Canaria. Finally, it is suggested here, that the taxa found could be a part of the potecial diet of the Great Spotted Woodpecker (Dendrocopos malor thanneri) in these forests.
