| Sumario: | The aim of this work consists in studying a votive nature inscription in the municipality of Malagón, province of Ciudad Real. This epigraph is actually found embedded in one of the walls of the façade of the Cristo del Espíritu Santo Hermitage belonging to the aforementioned municipality. The inscription in question is of interest as it constitutes the only confirmed proof of Mars' worship within the territorial scope of the province of Ciudad Real, even though other Roman cults have been documented here. |
