Description
Summary:The principal aim of the present study was to analyse gaze behaviour and decision making behaviour of volleyball players when blocking, for two different types of setting: standing and jump. Seven volleyball players (25.14 ± 3.98 years) from the senior category (FEV category) who block during games took part in this study. An eye tracker (Mobile Eye from ASL laboratory) was used for analysing the gaze behaviour of the volleyball players and Superlab 4.0 software was used to analyse decision making skills. Results revealed that volleyball players use different visual search behaviour or strategies for the two types of sets that were analysed; moreover, ball-wrist gazes are the most repeated gaze
