| Sumario: | This paper presents an innovative and novel approach with the general aim of introducing a multi-criteria evaluation method based on four assumptions. This method is used to select the best-suited NBS types to be implemented in urban areas in order to address various challenges. The novelty of the applied method arises from taking an equity approach to ecological, social, and management aspects that are crucial for the effective implementation of NBS. The framework includes all possible NBS types presenting different levels of human intervention in ecosystems. The framework was tested using the example of Lublin, a city in Poland, by analyzing existing solutions and NBS types that have the potential to be implemented. |
