| Sumario: | The study of the Santa Orosia fan delta north of the Basa anticline (Jaca Basin, Southern Pyrenees) has described the type 2 Jaca-6 sequence. The upper Sabihinigo sandstone, storm and tidal influenced, enhaces the shelf margin systems tract, being conformable to the West and unconformable to the East due to a tectonic relief developed by the Bini4s thrust. The transgressive systems tract is the conformable lowermost part of the Pamplona offshore marls that are onlapping to the east the lo w er and m iddle Sabifidnigo Sandstone. The highstand systems tract are the rest o f the offshore Pamplona marls gradding to mouth bars sandstones and this to alluvial conglomerate deposits capped by the erosional surface of the Jaca complex unconformity top |
