Sumario:In the following pages, the reader will find an analysis of the important role played by deliberate ignorance in economic criminal law and, in particular, how it can become a source of bias in legal professionals, leading the latter to engage in behaviour that is criminally liable. In this sense, special attention will be paid to the biases of excessive confidence and external competitiveness, which, in turn, are linked to the biases of excessive coherence and of conclusion or prejudice, all of the above being a sign of how certain conceptions can generate errors in human judgement
