Description
Summary:Through this article we aim to establish a general overview of the situation that can be found in Spain in relation to school libraries. To this end, a series of in-depth interviews have been carried out with experts in school libraries belonging to various professional fields and from several autonomous communities. Thanks to these opinions formed by years of experience, it has been possible to acquire an overview of the Spanish school library panorama. It is evident that in Spain there is no satisfactorily structured library service, attributed mainly to the lack of a common approach, together with the lack of budgetary allocations necessary to execute collaborative plans.
