The first question is whether these patterns are still in use or, on the contrary, are evolving towards a more unitary linguistic pattern, at least in the field of written journalistic communication. Once the persistence of these patterns has been ascertained, despite some changes in the system of stereotypical variants, the plausibility of its relationship with the ideological connotations that have traditionally been associated with each pattern is analyzed.
