| Summary: | [EN] As a result ofa two months stay in Madeira, Portugal, 747 samples offungi were col1ected, being 249 the identified taxa. A catalogue ofthem is presented here. The main object ofthis study is to search the fungi growing in Laurus forests (Iaurisylva), which takes a 30%, approximately, ofthe island territory, while the rest ofthe island is occupied by trees introduced from America and Europe. Thus, most fungi species are those common in both continents. Among the more interested ones we could mention the fol1owing: Plectania rhytidia, Sarcoscypha macaronesica, Hygrocybe ovina, Mutinus elegans, Oligoporus caesius, Ossicaulis lignatilis, Panaeolus subbalteatus, Ramaria curta, Ramaria gracilis and Tremellodendropsis tuberosa. Previous records of the studied species are mentioned according to our knowledge on the mycoflora of Madeira. Two new infraspecific taxa are proposed: Armillaria mellea f. rosea f. nov. and Leucopaxillus giganteus varo coalescens var. nov. Final1y, news on the first mushrooms demonstration organized by the University ofMadeira are also added. |
