Descripción
Sumario:[EN] This work tryes to summarize and bring up to date the information, at present dispersed, on the taxonomy and biology of the Cynipinae (Hym., Cynipidae) in the Iberian Peninsula. A list of the iberian species is furnished. The list include 20 genera and 132 species representing 58% and 53% respectively of the total genera and species recorded in Europa. Host plant data are compiled and separate in several tables confronting, at different levels, botanical and parasitical data. Almost 73% of the gall making cynipid species are associated with Quercus. The heterogonic species Quercus-associated are usted pointing out, when are known the names of the two forms of the life cycle. Finally data are given about the distribution and frequency of the galls on various parts of their host plants.
