Resumo:Throughout the last decades, the social demands of vulnerable groups defined by identity, culture or affiliation are acquiring unprecedented influence in international politics, posing growing challenges in the fields of political fairness and social justice. This is mainly due to the fact that cultural and ascriptive conditions have been correlated or linked to the problem of inequality and vulnerability, becoming a highly relevant issue on the political agenda and in social movements. Therefore, I choose as populations to be studied the indigenous population, Afro-Mexicans and immigrants, because they are considered the most deprived in terms of social citizenship and public voice. In addition, I decided to analyse their vulnerability in the conditions of quality in housing. Which is taken, in social research, as an important dimension of social exclusion, since it is a way to access various social benefits, improving one’s standing and reducing vulnerability.
