Estudi epidemiològic poblacional de la incidència, tendència i supervivència de les neoplàsies limfoides a la província de Girona durant un període de 20 anys (1996-2015)
The incidence, time trends and survival of lymphoid neoplasm’s in the Girona province are analyzed from 1996 to 2015. The survival of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (LBDCG) before and after 2004 and estimate incidence rate and survival of primary central nervous system lymphoma (1994 to 2013). The pr...

| Sumario: | The incidence, time trends and survival of lymphoid neoplasm’s in the Girona province are analyzed from 1996 to 2015. The survival of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (LBDCG) before and after 2004 and estimate incidence rate and survival of primary central nervous system lymphoma (1994 to 2013). The present study is based on the population-based Girona cancer registry using the ICD-O-3 and the 2008 WHO. A total of 4367 incident cases of lymphoid neoplasm were registered and age-standardized incidence rate (according to the 2013 European standard population) was 37.08/100000 inhabitants/year. Incidence trends remained constant except for peripheral T-cell lymphoma and lymphoid neoplasm, NOS. Relative survival at 5-year for the global was 61.7%. 5-year observed survival of LBDCG during 1996-2003 and 2004-2015 increased from 38.9% to 48.3%. Incidence rate of primary central nervous system lymphomas was 0.48 cases and estimated a median observed survival of 0.28 years |
