Sumario:[Simple Summary] Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm (BPDCN) is a rare and aggressive blood cancer that often requires intensive medical care. In this study, we looked at how much it actually costs to treat patients with this disease and how often they use hospital services. The average cost per patient is over EUR 100,000, and hospital stays make up a big part of that. These patients spend a lot of time in hospital, which shows just how demanding this condition is on the healthcare system. These data are especially important when dealing with rare diseases, where resources are limited and treatment choices can be complex.
