Los hongos de piedra de Mesoamérica.
Mushroom stones are volcanic sculptures that were found from the late nineteenth century in archaelogical excavations in the Maya area of Mesoamerica. In this review, the discovery and the iconography of the mushroom stones is revised and we expose the hypotheses that explain their use.
