Starting from an analysis of a properly created database named Film Archive for Medical Education, the Author shows how Cinema has a formative dimension that simultaneously involves the students, the trainers and the contexts in which they have to operate, hence becoming an extraordinary teaching tool useful for the structuring and reflection on and of the thinking.
