| Sumario: | The wall paintings in the vault of the central aisle of the Santos Juanes church of Valencia were removed in the sixties by the strappo method and remounted in a new plywood frame. This paper presents the research work carried out as far as the different protection methods of the removed paintings are concerned in order to separate them from the above-mentioned frame and remount them in another more appropriate frame. |
