| Sumario: | Josep Vallverdú is a writer best known far his narrative work for children and young readers. But throughout his life he has written works of very different genres. And two of his lesser-known facets are those of literary historian and critic. Although he was only an occasional historian and critic, Vallverdú wrote many texts on authors and literary works in the Catalan language and published a textbook on the history of Catalan literature in 1978, which was very useful for students of that time. The aim of this paper is to make an approach to this textbook and to some of Vallverdú's critical texts. |
